John Lazar is Chairman of Metaswitch Networks, a leading provider of communications software and solutions. John joined Metaswitch in 1987 as a software engineer, and has worked across the full range of software design and engineering, customer support, product vision and strategy, project management, and revenue generation – culminating in promotion to Chief Executive Officer, and now Chairman. Having been brought up in South Africa, John is also delighted to serve as a Trustee of the Starfish Greathearts Foundation, which supports children in Southern Africa who have been orphaned or made vulnerable by HIV/AIDS.
