Simon Cox is an Internal Audit Manager at BT plc, where he supervises the internal audit programme of BT’s subsidiaries outside of the UK. His work focuses on risk, internal control, the optimisation of processes and effective reporting. Prior to his work at BT, Simon trained as a Chartered Accountant at the UK’s National Audit Office, which conducts financial and value-for-money audit of UK Government expenditure. Simon is passionate about the ability of technology to transform the world for the better, and is keen to make a contribution in this area. He holds a degree in biology from the University of Nottingham.
